Hydra is Irene Skylakaki and Danton Supple. 

 

Having met on a previous album, their shared love of dark tales and rich and dusky backdrops lead to the formation of the band. Irene’s acoustic and lush vocals and Danton’s programming and atmospheres combining effortlessly.

 

Her lyrics, autobiographical and oftentimes disarmingly personal, combine with catchy melodies, forming songs that have allowed her to connect with her ever growing audience. These, wrapped in ambient drums, discordant keys and lush, driven layers make HYDRA.
